Job Title: Security Engineer (Go)

Location: Fully Remote

We are looking for an experienced Golang Security Developer who can re-architect our current system with security principles in mind. As a Golang Security Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining secure software systems using Golang. You should have a strong understanding of security best practices, software architecture, and be comfortable working in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain secure software systems using Golang.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop security protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices are implemented throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security threats.
• Develop and maintain secure infrastructure to support the software systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and industry trends.
• Document and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Train and educate development teams on security best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on security.
• Strong experience with Golang programming language and its ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of web application security concepts and best practices.
• Experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, and code review tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience working in a remote environment is a plus.

Salary:

The salary for this position is $200,000 - $240,000 CAD per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
