Overview:

Join Paladin Security as a Security Dispatch/Control Centre Operator at Vaughan Mills.

You'll play a vital role in monitoring surveillance systems, coordinating security responses, and ensuring the safety of guests, tenants, and staff within one of Canada's premier shopping destinations.

As part of the Paladin team, you'll represent professionalism, integrity, and customer service excellence while supporting day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Monitor surveillance systems, access control, and alarm systems. Dispatch security personnel in response to incidents, alarms, or service requests. Maintain accurate records of calls, incidents, and daily activities. Communicate effectively with on-site security, management, emergency services, and tenants. Conduct regular checks of security equipment and ensure all systems are functioning properly. Assist in incident investigations through video retrieval and data collection. Follow site-specific procedures and ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.

Requirements:

Legally authorized to work in Canada. Valid Ontario Security License. Valid Standard First Aid & CPR - Level C (WSIB-approved provider). Minimum of 2 years of security guard experience. COVID-19 Vaccine (2 doses). Valid G Class Driver's License. English fluency (oral and written). Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related field preferred.

Nice-to-Have::

Prior experience in a dispatch or control centre role. Strong multitasking and communication skills. Minimum of 1 year of mall security or similar experience. Proficiency in computer systems and security software. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Availability for all listed shifts, including overnights and weekends. Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills.
