Security Concierge - Full-Time, Afternoon Shift (North York)
Job Overview:
As a Security Concierge, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for assisting residents by providing information and services as needed. This role requires someone that is self-motivated, outgoing, detail-oriented and has great communication skills while having excellent organizational skills.
Shift Schedule:
Tuesday-Friday: 1600-0000 & Saturday 1200-0000
Site Location: North York, ON
Start Date: December 16
Your Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Identifies and clarifies residents\xe2\x80\x99 needs and desires, answers questions, gives directions and instructions
\xc2\xb7 Ability to remain calm under pressure and act quickly.
\xc2\xb7 Manages and screens messages
\xc2\xb7 Schedules access for authorized vendors to provide services within units
\xc2\xb7 Maintains guest privacy and organization reputation by keeping information confidential
\xc2\xb7 Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining 2 personal networks
\xc2\xb7 Enhances department and organizational reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
\xc2\xb7 Ensures all safety and access control procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
\xc2\xb7 Provide protection to the clients, residents and property of the buildings we are contracted to provide services. Provide assistance/ support by answering customer inquiries and direct as required.
\xc2\xb7 Observe floors and stairways ensuring that they are clear of debris, obstructions and fire hazards and that access doors to sensitive/priority areas are locked. Be alert to deficiencies in the physical building which could cause injury or loss of client\xe2\x80\x99s assets.
\xc2\xb7 Enforce client\xe2\x80\x99s rules, regulations, Municipal, Ontario and Canadian Laws and assist Police and Medical Staff when required.
\xc2\xb7 Provide exceptional Customer Service to Clients, Customers, Contractors and Visitors to client\xe2\x80\x99s property.
\xc2\xb7 Perform routine property patrols of all levels of building, parking areas and perimeter and respond to and Emergencies and Fire Alarms.
\xc2\xb7 Follow up with daily documentation, daily occurrence log, incident reports and front desk software as required.
\xc2\xb7 Follow all On-site Procedures: Employee Handbook Policies and Procedures, Training Checklist, Standing Orders or Standard Operation Procedures, Client Policies and FirstService Residential Policies
Skills & Qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 Must possess a valid Ontario Security License
\xc2\xb7 High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Completion of College level courses with concentration in Business/Hospitality or Police/Security Foundations would be an asset.
