Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Officer to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, incident prevention, and effective response to security concerns. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle various security situations professionally.

Duties

Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the property. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address potential security risks. Enforce access control procedures by verifying credentials and managing visitor logs. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Document incidents accurately through detailed reports and maintain security logs. Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff with inquiries while maintaining security protocols. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations at all times.

Experience

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques is preferred. Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize potential threats or suspicious activity. Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and interaction with team members and the public. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
