The Department of Facilities Management, Security Services Division, is seeking applicants to fill three (3) Security Attendant positions.RESPONSIBILITIES:Staffing the Security Services office dispatch desk and NRCC deskAssisting in the protection of persons and property on campus and in student residencesCounter and phone receptionRespond to emergency, maintenance and a variety of alarm systemsRespond to calls for assistanceGeneral key issuesLost and found dutiesProvide parking informationMonitoring the CCTV systemBe aware of potential illegal activities such as stolen property, underage drinking, theft and building security on campus and in residencePrepare shift reports and other related duties as requiredCash escortsQUALIFICATIONS:

• Have completed courses in Law and Security, Corrections or possess an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Excellent writing, speaking and computer skills
• Ability to obtain a vulnerability sector check
• Ability to obtain a Federal background check
• Be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
• Knowledge of the UPEI campus would be an asset
• Successful applicant must provide proof of a valid driver\'s license. A valid driver\'s license is required for continued employment
