*OVERVIEW OF THE ROLEWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Architect to join our team. This is a remote role with a focus on designing and implementing cutting-edge security solutions in cloud environments, particularly with AWS.WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and scaling of security services within our client\'s AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
  • Architect and implement AWS-native security solutions that meet the highest standards for data protection, compliance, and system integrity.
  • Design and build hybrid data ingestion and processing frameworks that handle both real-time streaming and scheduled batch operations.
  • Utilize your deep technical expertise to ensure security solutions are efficient, scalable, and align with organizational needs.
  • Maintain rigorous quality standards, performing regular evaluations to ensure security solutions remain effective and compliant.
  • Drive innovation by staying current with the latest in cybersecurity trends and proactively enhancing security processes and technologies.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of our security services, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Advocate for security roadmaps and designs to both technical and non-technical teams, clearly articulating the business benefits.
WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL NEED TO DO THE JOB :
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, including Linux system administration and software development.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity, particularly in architecture or design roles for significant security projects.
  • Expertise in AWS security architecture and implementation, with additional knowledge of cloud security technologies in Azure or GCP being a plus.
  • Strong technical depth to build and design comprehensive security solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to less technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps concepts.
  • Strong leadership skills with a keen understanding of business processes and priorities.
  • Ability to conduct analytical research independently, applying critical thinking to emerging cybersecurity challenges.
