About this opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Security, this Lloydminster area-based position will be responsible for supporting the vision of Enterprise Security and Investigations and the implementation and support of Cenovus Enterprise Security related Policies and Standards for all Lloydminster area based assets.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with Lloydminster area Operations, Facilities, Well Delivery, Construction, Exploration and IT teams to assess risk and provide security support and solutions
• Assist in ensuring that the site maintains regulatory compliance for security and support inspections and audits as required
• Conduct Security Vulnerability Assessments and support recommendations with stakeholders
• Management of security applications including CCTV, access control and incident management programs
• Assist in security investigations related to Cenovus policy or practice violations and supervise security service providers
• Provide security related training and awareness sessions and act as site liaison with law enforcement and synergy groups
• Support Emergency Management incident response and security planning and execution for capital projects and turnarounds

Qualifications:

• Previous law enforcement experience is an asset
• Experience in leadership/supervisory positions
• Dispute/conflict resolution skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Excellent problem solving and written/verbal communication skills
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Possess a University Degree or relevant Post-Secondary Education
• Professional security designation, Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) or be working towards one
