Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Securities Services Messenger
to join our Operations team in Vancouver.Reporting to the
Team Lead
, this role is primarily responsible for processing general securities services tasks. The ideal candidate must work well in a team environment, be eager to learn, be highly organized, and committed to accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
General Mailroom duties
Open-distribute incoming mail
Post external mail
Deliver outgoing courier packages
Broad range of physical file management, internally and with external safety deposit boxes
Verify settled transactions and reconcile outstanding items
Crosstrain in additional functions such as stock receipts, CDS/DTCC deposits, estates, new issues, and US legend removals
Assist walk-in clients and manage courier drop-offs/pickups at the Client Services counter.
Required Skills and Qualifications
2 years relevant experience in the Canadian securities industry preferred but not required.
Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks concurrently to meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and.
Experience with CDS, DTCC and Dataphile software an asset but not required.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for helping others succeed.
