- Full-service law firm specializing in a wide range of practice areas.
- Work with a team of high professional standing.
- Office conveniently located in Torontos Financial Distric
- Draft and file disclosure documents on SEDAR+;
- Drafting prospectus filing documents for investment fund issuers;
- Prepare and complete stock exchange, SEDAR+, SEDI and NRD filings as required;
- Monitoring / maintaining compliance deadlines;
- Maintaining / updating forms and processes in compliance with securities rules and regulations; and
- Conduct searches of public company information on SEDAR+;
- Liaise with clients, accountants, lawyers and regulators by telephone and in person to take
instructions and obtain information, and reporting on status of matters, and;
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working as a Securities Law Clerk;
- Law Clerk diploma from accredited institute;
- Knowledge of Canadian securities law and corporate law;
- Proficiency with SEDAR, Corplink, Disclosure net;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Excellent organizational skills and project management skills;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality,
