Le CGMS est un centre d'excellence offrant des soins medicaux en plus de 11 specialites et un site d'enseignement medical de l'Universite McGill. Plus de 50 specialistes reconnus nationalement et internationalement dans leurs domaines d'expertise, appuyes par une equipe interdisciplinaire hautement qualifiee d'assistants medicaux, d'infirmieres autorisees, de dietetistes, podologues et autres professionnels de la sante et de la recherche clinique.
Nous sommes presentement a la recherche de secretaires medicales a temps plein / temps partiel
Responsabilites:
• Gestion des rendez-vous des patients, des listes d'attente et des horaires des medecins tel que decrit dans nos procedures d'utilisation normalisees
• Accueil, enregistrement des patients et suivi a la conclusion de leur visite en fournissant clairement les instructions verbales et/ou ecrites.
• Repondre au telephone, gestion et suivi des messages sur la boite vocale et par courriel
• Completion des formulaires et lettres
• Faire la liaison avec les laboratoires medicaux et bureaux de medecins externes pour gerer la documentation des patients
• Effectuer toutes les autres taches connexes telles que la gestion du courrier et expeditions, la telecopie, la photocopie, le tri, le classement, etc.

• Accueille les requetes des patients, des visiteurs et du personnel de facon informative, polie et serviable ;
• Reste calme sous pression et intervient promptement, adequatement et efficacement en situation d'urgence, de crise ou dans toute autre situation critique ;
• Respecte, applique et comprend les codes, les reglements, les politiques, les lignes directrices, les exigences legales et toutes les directives en vigueur ;
• Se conforme aux pratiques de controle des infections afin de prevenir la transmission de maladies
• Respecte l'horaire de travail en vigueur (heure de debut et fin de quart, pause et diner) ; Fiable et engage(e).
• Capable de se soucier de son bien-etre psychologique
Prerequis:
• Bilinguisme (anglais/francais; oral/ecrit)
• DEC en Administration ou equivalent ou experience en secretariat est consideree comme un atout
• Bonnes connaissances de la terminologie medicale
• Excellentes competences en informatique sont essentielles.

The CGSM is a centre of excellence offering medical care in more than 11 specialties and a McGill University medical education site. More than 50 nationally and internationally recognized specialists in their fields of expertise, supported by a highly qualified interdisciplinary team of physician assistants, registered nurses, dietitians, chiropodists and other health and clinical research professionals.
We are currently looking for full-time/part-time medical secretaries.
Responsibilities:
• Management of patient appointments, waiting lists and physician schedules as described in our standard operating procedures
• Reception, registration of patients and follow-up at the conclusion of their visit with clear verbal and/or written instructions.
• Answering phones, manage and follow up messages on voicemail and by email
• Completion of forms and letters
• Liaise with medical laboratories and external physician offices to manage patient documentation
• Perform all other related tasks such as mail and shipping management, faxing, photocopying, sorting, filing, etc.

Prerequisites:
• Bilingualism (English/French; oral/written)
• DEC in Administration or equivalent or secretarial experience is considered an asset
• Good knowledge of medical terminology
• Computer skills are essential.
