Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to lawyers and enhance office effectiveness. Responsibilities - Perform clerical tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and managing schedules - Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy - Assist in interviewing clients and witnesses to gather relevant information - Utilize iManage or similar software for document management - Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness - Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently - Provide general administrative support to legal staff - Assist in drafting legal documents under supervision Qualifications - Proficient in written communication and able to draft correspondence - Familiarity with Lexis-Nexis or other legal research tools is a plus - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality - Prior experience in legal drafting is preferred - Excellent multitasking abilities and time management skills Join our team as a Legal Assistant to contribute to the success of our legal practice!
