We are seeking a Secretary/Bookkeeper to join our team. This role involves managing administrative duties alongside maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. They will have experience with QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) and possess strong skills in bookkeeping and payroll. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate record-keeping within the team.
Hours typically worked are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. On occasion, management may extend office hours to meet demands and timelines - example: payroll processing.
We offer higher-than-average wages for our area. Wage will be discussed during the interview.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable (QuickBooks)
Process payroll accurately and on time (QuickBooks)
Post and track statistical data
Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and document management, answering phones
Assist with social media content updates
Provide administrative assistance to upper management
General office support
