About the Role
The Assistant o the Chair & Program Director supports both the Chair of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, and the Director of the Labour Studies Program. They play a critical role in supporting the responsibilities of the Chair and Director, particularly in the areas of faculty and instructor recruitment, tenure and promotion, and event logistics and administration.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive and demonstrates an excellent ability to exercise mature judgment while communicating with tact and diplomacy. The ability to prioritize work while showing attention to detail is also instrumental to the success of this role.
