We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Secretarial Assistant to support our administrative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in office software. This role involves managing front desk operations, handling data entry, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure smooth office functioning. Prior experience in medical or dental offices is a plus, along with familiarity with QuickBooks and Google Workspace. The Secretarial Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office workflows and supporting daily administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Be the welcoming first point of contact and communicate clearly with clients
Maintain office supply inventory and keep all materials organized
Manage incoming calls and communicate information throughout the office
Keep the office calendar updated with key deadlines and upcoming events
Enter data into spreadsheets and organize incoming paperwork
Helping the administrative team prepare orders
Providing administrative support for various projects
Requirements
Proven clerical or administrative experience.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry
High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is advantageous
Strong organizational skills & proactive personality, communication skills, working well in a team environment
Experience in a similar administrative role is an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
A reliable individual with a strong willingness to learn
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
