Job Overview

CIRA High School is seeking dedicated and passionate High School Teachers to join our educational team. We are hiring for the following subjects:

Mathematics Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, etc.) Economics Social Science (Social Studies, History, Geography, etc.) Computer Science English
Teachers will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute to students' academic and personal growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in subjects such as English, Math, and foreign languages including French and Spanish. This role requires effective communication skills, classroom management abilities, and a desire to support students in their academic growth.

Teaching Level:

BC Curriculum (Grades 10-12)

Qualifications:

BC Teaching Certificate or Independent School Teaching Certificate (ISTC) preferred Relevant university degree(s) in the subject area Experience teaching BC or AP-level courses is an asset

Responsibilities:

Lesson planning and instruction Assessment and reporting (formative and summative) Student and parent communication Supporting school academic quality and compliance standards (including MyEd/TRAX processes)
