Secondary School Social Sciences/humanities Teacher
Job Description
King Heights Academy is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced and passionate Secondary School Social Sciences/Humanities Teacher to inspire and engage our students.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging curriculum aligned with Ontario Ministry of Education standards
Create a positive and dynamic classroom environment that fosters critical thinking and student growth
Use technology creatively to enhance learning experiences
Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators to support student success
Have a Bachelor of Education and membership in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
Have experience in differentiated teaching approaches, with a focus on critical thinking skills
Have strong classroom management skills
Integrate technology into lessons
