Seasonal / Temporary Pharmacist - Independent Pharmacy

Position Overview

We are hiring a

Temporary Pharmacist

to support our team during the upcoming immunization season. This role is initially

temporary/seasonal (3-6 weeks, ~20 hours per week)

, with potential to transition into

permanent part-time

.

Shifts fall within pharmacy hours:

Monday to Friday:

9:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Saturday:

9:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Compensation:

$45+ per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently Provide clinical services, including: Vaccinations and injection clinics Medication reviews Compounding services Blister packing Supervise and support pharmacy assistants Manage administrative tasks such as inventory, billing, and record-keeping Ensure compliance with College of Pharmacists of BC standards

Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC Injection Certification and valid CPR/First Aid (required) Proficiency with pharmacy software (

WinRx preferred

) Experience in compounding (asset) Cantonese language skills (asset, to support local community needs) Strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail
