Do you have a hands-on personality and a keen eye for detail? We are looking for Seasonal Yard Attendants to join our team at the Red Deer Home Centre.
Term: Until approximately September 30, 2023
Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends - mornings (7:00 am start), afternoons and evenings (up to 8:00 pm weekdays, 6:00 pm weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Customer service,
- Accurately receive inventory,
- Load and unload shipments,
- Prepare orders for delivery in a timely manner,
- Pick orders based on customer receipts,
- Operate hand and/or controlled forklifts,
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment,
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Excellent communication skills,
- Self-motivated,
- Attention to detail and quality,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Ability to work independently and in a team,
- Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.),
- Class 3 License with Air is an asset,
- Experience running a forklift is preferred,
- Must provide an acceptable driver\'s abstract upon hire.
