The Engineering Services Division, Wastewater Planning and Project Delivery Branch is offering temporary employment opportunities from approximately May to September 2025.

As the •Seasonal Technical Assistant - Wastewater Planning & Project Delivery •you will:


• Assist the branch with review, analysis and compilation of wastewater data, sewer gauging programs, wastewater collections and treatment plant analysis, development drawings review and general data and support on various engineering projects.


• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, external contacts and the public.


• Be required to work outside under sometimes unfavourable weather conditions.
Your education and qualifications include:


• Successful completion at least 1 year of a recognized program in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and/or Biosystems Engineering Degree.


• Ability to use Microsoft Office products.


• Ability to use engineering software and/or basic knowledge of computer programming.


• Knowledge of water and sewer systems and their operation.


• Basic knowledge of GIS software.


• Ability to interpret construction and record drawings and specifications.


• Basic knowledge of various underground infrastructure.
Conditions of employment:


• The successful applicant must maintain legal eligibility to work in Canada. If the successful applicant possesses a work permit, it is their responsibility to ensure the permit remains valid.


• Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver's Licence.
