Minimum 1 year of retail Canadian work experience is a MUST!

Fluent in speaking, writing and listening in English is a MUST!


Availability: Everyday from 10 am to 6 PM - Weekends Availability is required.



Duties



Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for checkout transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Assist customers with product inquiries, including conducting product demos when applicable Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain the sales floor by merchandising products attractively, restocking shelves, and organizing displays to promote featured items Stock shelves and organize merchandise throughout the store to ensure a clean, safe, and inviting environment Manage inventory by participating in stock counts and reporting low-stock items to supervisors Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere

Qualifications



Previous Canadian retail experience is required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Familiarity with Square POS systems and cashiering procedures is advantageous. Proficiency in English; multilingual abilities are a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers, including bilingual proficiency as a plus Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and managing inventory counts accurately Ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the store, and lift moderate loads when stocking merchandise Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to address inquiries professionally Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in future leadership opportunities Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product demos enhances customer engagement A proactive attitude with strong teamwork skills to support store operations effectively
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 8-24 per week

Availability: Everyday from 10 am to 6 PM - Weekends Availability is required.
