Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented sales associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in retail sales or merchandising are a plus.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases Operate POS systems accurately to process sales transactions Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and security Provide product information and perform product demos when needed Upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure merchandise is properly displayed Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism Assist with inventory management and merchandising tasks Ensure adherence to company policies regarding cash handling and customer service standards

Skills

Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Proficiency with POS systems and familiarity with retail technology tools Ability to perform product demos and explain features effectively Excellent organizational skills and time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently Customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor Sales skills, including upselling techniques, to maximize revenue opportunities Knowledge of merchandising principles to maintain attractive displays Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic retail environment

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
