Duties



Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about merchandise to promote sales Maintain attractive product displays through merchandising and regular stock replenishment Stock shelves, organize back stock, and ensure aisles are clean and accessible Support upselling initiatives by suggesting complementary products to customers Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math calculations Provide friendly phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits Assist with inventory management by stocking new merchandise and conducting periodic inventory counts Support store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and deliver excellent customer service

Qualifications



Previous retail experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations Ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the store, and lift moderate loads as needed Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our diverse customer base Experience with POS systems or familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in leadership opportunities during the season Knowledge of merchandising standards and stock management practices is helpful
