Job Description

Elora Co-operative Preschool is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to assist with snow removal and general outdoor property maintenance during the fall and winter months. Snowfall mornings before 8:30 AM (Monday-Friday); flexible hours for general property maintenance

Primary Responsibilities

Snow Removal:

Clear all pathways, stairs, and entry points before 8:30 AM on any weekday with snowfall. Shovel, chip ice, and apply salt as needed to maintain a safe and accessible preschool environment. Ensure the outdoor play area and walkways are completely clear of snow and ice. Manage and reduce snow drifts as they accumulate throughout the season.

General Maintenance:

Occasional light yard work such as tidying, leaf clearing, and basic upkeep of the outdoor space. Periodic snow drift management even on days without active snowfall.

Qualifications

Able to work independently and efficiently in early morning conditions.

; character references are accepted. Must be reliable and punctual, with the ability to respond to snowfall on short notice.
