Position: Full-Time Groundskeeper/Maintenance Worker

As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our resort, ensuring our guests feel welcome and valued.

Role Overview:
As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our resort grounds, cabins, and facilities. Your efforts will help create a well-kept, inviting environment for all guests. In this role, you will work closely with the team to ensure the resort remains pristine and well-maintained throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain plants and lawns, including watering, weeding, and general upkeep.
• Operate gas-powered equipment, including chainsaws.
• Clean, lubricate, and protect tools and equipment.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality.
• Ensure the facility remains safe and efficient, including regular garbage and recycling maintenance.
• Perform minor cabin and shop repairs.
• Move and arrange deck furniture and fill propane tanks.
• Assist with housekeeping duties as needed.
• Clean and care for canoes, kayaks, and the beach area.
• Maintain a daily log of tasks performed.

Requirements:

• Passion for landscaping and maintenance.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to identify plants.
• Physical ability to handle heavy loads.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility and teamwork mindset.
