Who you'll be working with:

Hi, I'm Stephanie Grasso, and I'm currently the Senior Manager Fulfillment Operations at Mejuri. I am responsible for overseeing all operations at our Toronto Fulfillment Center including shipping, receiving and engraving all of our beautiful Mejuri pieces. I recently joined Mejuri in 2021 and was enticed by the amazing culture and employee dedication that was clear to me right from the start.

The role:

The Operations Team Lead - Outbound works to ensure that the Packing and Shipping Team are processing orders correctly and on time.

What you'll do:

  • Monitor the daily workflow of Picking, Engraving Packing and Shipping teams to ensure work is prioritized and distributed equally and daily SLA's are met
  • Assist team with packing and shipping orders when required
  • Coordinating with the Picking Team Lead, Inventory and Logistics to ensure that Internal Shipments and non-customer bound shipments are packed and shipped according to SLAs
  • Correct address issues for orders and escalate to Customer Experience if needed
  • Report and Return extra inventory from Packing/Shipping teams (due to: Missing Item, Picking Error, Defect, Extra Product/Cancelled Order) back to the picking area for correction or shelving
  • Ensure unpacked orders/batches are returned back to the picking area at the end of the shift
  • Ensure the team meets daily processing timelines and KPIs. Assist with productivity tracking as required
  • Provide training and coaching to Packing and Shipping Associates and Material Handlers when necessary
  • Assist with implementation and enforcement of process changes, documentation updates, etc.
  • Escalate performance and attendance issues of the Packing and Shipping teams to the Outbound Operations Supervisor
  • Investigate and report any potential/known delays to the Outbound Operations Coordinator on a daily basis
  • Communicate and work cross-functionally with internal departments
  • Delegate tasks and set project deadlines
  • Observes and support all safety guidelines and requirements
