Shifts available - morning and afternoon

Pay rate - $21.00 an hour with additional premium of $1.00 an hour for afternoon shifts








To assist with all receiving, processing, shipping, returns and inventory operations in the Distribution Centre: unloading/loading by hand, lifting, scanning, sorting, picking, packing, labelling and checking stock as required. To ensure the Distribution Centre operates with optimum precision and efficiency. Working within all areas of the warehouse depending on the business requirement: Receiving, Processing, Shipping, Inventory Control and Returns.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-

Work under supervision and direction of department Supervisor and team lead Help to efficiently carry out all product loading and unloading tasks, by hand Scan and track incoming and outgoing orders Receive and process new inventory, ensuring contents match manifest documents Inspect receivables for defects, damages or missing items Properly scan and inventory incoming goods Perform detailed manual inventory counts as required Label warehouse stock for quick and easy identification and retrieval Pick , prepare, package and label goods for shipment Double-check items to verify the accuracy of outgoing orders Manually load and unload product to and from trailers and containers Keep workplace clean and tidy (general housekeeping) Ensure tools and equipment are kept clean and in working order Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to upper management Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations at all times Wear protective clothing and equipment as required Work with other Distribution Centre team members to effectively complete assigned tasks Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS -

Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent attention to detail Ability to follow precise verbal and written instructions Good organizational skills Must be able to read, write, speak and receive instruction and directions in English Must be eligible to work in Canada

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-

High school diploma or equivalent Working knowledge of RF scanners and common warehouse tools and equipment Ability to learn to operate technical machinery if required.

$21.00 to $22.00 an hour
