We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscaping, maintenance, and horticulture, with the ability to utilize various tools and equipment effectively. This role involves providing high-quality care for outdoor spaces, ensuring they are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. The Care Worker will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall upkeep and enhancement of landscapes.

Responsibilities

Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and fertilization. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, and mulching. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators for various projects. Engage in tree care activities including tree trimming and removal as needed. Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to maintain safe access to properties. Support hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls installation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment after use. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Experience

Previous experience in landscaping or horticulture is preferred but not required. Mechanical knowledge related to the operation of power tools and landscaping equipment is essential. Familiarity with gardening techniques and practices is a plus. Experience in construction or maintenance roles will be beneficial. A willingness to learn new skills related to landscape care and maintenance is important. Pay: $17.55-$36.43 per hour
