HIRING SEASONAL STAFF - AUGUST & SEPTEMBER

Calling All Dancers & Dance Parents!

Gabie's Boutique is getting ready for our busiest time of the year --

Back to Dance Season

-- and we're looking for

seasonal, full time team member

to join us this

August and September.

This is a seasonal position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

PLEASE NOTE

: This position is

not suitable for students heading away for school

in the fall, as

availability through both August AND September (including weekends)

is required.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

? Dancers (current/past) or experienced dance parents
? People who love helping others and thrive in customer-facing roles
? Someone who enjoys a clean, organized workspace (and doesn't mind pitching in to keep it that way)
? Bonus points if your favourite colour is pink -- it's ours too!

THE ROLE INCLUDES:

Sharing your dance knowledge with customers of all ages Fitting shoes, recommending apparel, and guiding families through their dancewear needs Supporting store upkeep -- putting away try-ons, restocking shelves, and maintaining our signature boutique aesthetic Operating the POS system and processing payments

SCHEDULING & AVAILABILITY:

Seasonal, Full Time

(approx. 4-5 shifts per weekend)
Must be available:

Saturdays

(9:30am-4:30pm)

Sundays

(11:30am-4:30pm)

Weekdays

(9:30am-6:30pm)
If you are

away, returning to school

, or

not available weekends

during these months, this role won't be the right fit.

QUALIFICATIONS:

?Minimum 5 years of dance experience
?Customer service skills or retail experience (an asset, not required)
? Physically able to handle the demands of retail (standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 lbs, using ladders/step stools)

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
