SEASONAL SKID STEER OPERATOR

Work location - Salisbury, NB

Cavendish Agri Services supports farmers in growing healthy and productive crops. We have 7 manufacturing/retail locations serving Atlantic Canada. Our primary products include fertilizers, crop protectants and technical expertise.

Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the successful candidate will be a results-driven, self-starter who is always looking for opportunities for improvement, and has the ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment.

It is a

SEASONAL

position from the end of March to the end of May.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate Forklift. Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment. Transport raw materials to production workstations. Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance. Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment. Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities. All other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Forklift experience Ability to lift 55lbs (25kgs) Availability to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions Mechanical aptitude and experience working in manufacturing or farm/fertilizer operations would be considered an asset
