The Seasonal Employment Support Professional provides services to people in a vocational setting. They assist with activities in a workplace environment and provides employment supports to people working at their jobs and in their community. The Seasonal Employment Support Professional ensures that people who experience disabilities belong to communities in which their God-given gifts are valued and respected. They work in cooperation with their team and completes administrative duties as assigned. The Employment Support Professional seeks to promote Christian Horizons Service Principles by enhancing relationships, promoting citizenship, valuing people?s gifts, recognizing self-determination, encouraging growth and development, and recognizing the need for holistic supports in a manner that considers each person?s intrinsic value. The Seasonal Employment Support Professional helps build communities of belonging in accordance to the core Values of Christian Horizons, Valuing People, Fostering Belonging, Serving Others and Respecting Gifts. They respect and uphold the Values, Vision and Mission of Christian Horizons, demonstrating the highest standards of courtesy, respect and integrity in their dealings with persons supported, other employees and both internal and external stakeholders. Requirements: Funded through Service Canada, the successful applicant will work 35 hours a week for 8 weeks, varying shifts. ? Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check ? Access to reliable transportation ? Documentation of COVID-19 vaccination Preferred: ? 3-6 Months Experience (volunteer or employment) ?
