PLEASE NOTE:
this is a temporary, seasonal position as a Peak Payment Customer Experience Representative. You will assist at the payment desk through our busiest time of the year.
Evening and Weekend availability is required. This contract role ends on December 31.
PURPOSE
The Peak Payment CER ensures a smooth, efficient, and friendly experience for customers during peak
season payment transactions. In addition to providing excellent service, this role is responsible for
actively suggesting additional itemsat the cash desk to enhance the customer experience and drive
incremental sales. The position is focused, repetitive, and high impact, making it ideal for candidates
who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy helping others.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide fast, frictionless, and friendly service at payment:
Greet customers as they approach cash.
Confirm loyalty status. Suggest loyalty to non -members as required.
Offer Purchase-with-Purchase to customers meeting the threshold. Offer Gift Cards to customers for last-minute gifting.
Restock cashes and maintain cleanliness of payment desk.
Qualifications
Experience in specialty retail or a retail environment preferred but not required
Adaptability, flexibility and a willingness to learn new things and be exposed to all aspects of the store
Demonstrated commitment to creating an exceptional employee and customer experience
Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
Ability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, overnights and early mornings (if required for the role)
Bilingualism (French/English) is required for all positions in Quebec; other languages an asset
