Job Description

The Cashier in our Toronto location is responsible for demonstrating a high level of client service, organization, and accuracy. They support the sales team by efficiently processing sales, handling payments, assist with client transfers and in store pickups. They ensure the cash desk area is organized, professional, and reflective of gravitypope's high standards while contributing to the overall daily operations of the store. This is a part time, seasonal position, with the possibility of becoming permanent. Weekend availability is required.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Providing prompt, courteous, and professional service to all clients at the cash desk Accurately processing sales, returns, exchanges, and payments Assisting sales associates with packaging, client inquiries, and online order pickups Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked cash desk area Following company procedures for cash handling, returns, and discounts Answering and responding to client phone and email inquiries in a timely manner Supporting overall store operations, including light merchandising and restocking as needed Acting as an ambassador and bringing positive recognition to the gravitypope brand

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:

1+ years of retail or cashier experience Previous experience in luxury retail is an asset Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail in cash handling Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Team-oriented with a strong focus on client service Proficient with POS systems and basic computer applications
