About the role
Corebridge Financial is seeking a results-oriented Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist to nurture and grow our Paid Search campaigns on Google and BING. This role is accountable for delivering new leads and written premium through Paid Search channels as well as support and expand our activity in Display and Native. The SEM Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of the assigned campaigns to include vendor relations, planning, copy development, buying, analyzing, and optimizing. As a team player in an in-house marketing department, the SEM Specialist will collaborate with the members of the media team towards achieving the overall weekly, monthly, and annual goals of the company. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, analytical, creative, and enthusiastic about achieving response and ROI.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the expansion of annual written premium and profitability generated from Paid Search, Display and Native.

  • Daily management of all aspects of assigned campaigns to include planning, buying, analyzing, optimizing and ad copy creation.

  • Govern and plan campaign budgets to achieve performance metrics on assigned campaigns.

  • Provide routine reporting and communications to the Director of Media and Marketing on campaign performance metrics, insights on optimizations, campaign challenges, highlights and pacing trends.

  • Improve campaign efficiency and performance by recommending and implementing new keywords, ad copy and bidding strategies for assigned channels.

  • Routine creative analysis to remain current, improve quality scores, deliver optimum performance, and ensure adherence to brand and compliance guidelines.

  • Partner with the vendor Account Executive Team\xe2\x80\x99s to ensure we are aware of the latest features for testing, platform revisions and we are aligned on priorities.

  • Steward routine competitive intelligence reviews on copy, placements and landing pages and communicate findings to the team.

  • Collaborate with the Media Team on media strategies, opportunities, and industry trends.

  • Responsible for reconciling vendor invoicing and uploading for payment processing.

  • Continuous learning and skill development in the SEM and digital marketing space is required to assist with continuous testing and growth of Corebridge Financial\xe2\x80\x99s media platform.

  • Provide general support for marketing initiatives.


What we are looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience in Paid Search Engine Marketing

  • Google Ads and Bing Certified

  • Experience in SA360 or similar campaign management tool

  • Skills with Google Analytics is a plus

  • Accustomed to writing ad copy and evaluating performance

  • Strong organization and attention to detail and accuracy

  • Clear verbal and written communications skills and capability to professionally communicate across corporate departments and vendors

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Solid math skills

  • Flexible and receptive to strategy and marketplace shifts in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, with emphasis on excel

  • Self-motivator with the ability to manage task and adhere to deadlines

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media Studies, or related field (preferred but not required)

For positions based in California, the base salary range is $60K-70K. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

For positions based in CO, NY & NJ, the base salary range is $60K-70K. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
