Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience fabricating high-quality garments and textiles, ensuring that each piece meets our standards of excellence. Ideally, the applicant has experience with hats and headwear. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and creativity are essential. The Seamstress will be responsible for sewing, altering, and finishing hats, headwear, and other textiles while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Duties

Pre-applying patches to hats and headwear Sewing patches, ropes and other accessories onto hats Fabricate hats according to specifications, patterns, and measurements. Operate post- head sewing machines and other equipment to produce high-quality finished products. Perform alterations and repairs on existing garments as needed. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring all items meet company standards. Maintain an organized work area, including proper storage of fabrics and tools. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency. Assist in inventory management within the warehouse, ensuring materials are stocked and readily available. Preparing materials to ensure smooth production line.

Skills

Proficiency in operating various sewing machines and tools. Strong understanding of fabric types and their properties. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship. Ability to read and interpret patterns and technical specifications. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Good communication skills for collaboration with team members. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
