Job Summary

Northside Alterations Lethbridge is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, altering, and repairing garments with precision and craftsmanship. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where quality and customer satisfaction are prioritized. Candidates with experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings are preferred, as these skills contribute to efficiency and accuracy in our production processes.

Duties

Measure, cut, sew, and assemble fabric pieces according to specifications and patterns Alter and repair clothing items to meet customer requirements Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and durability Operate sewing machines and other related equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety standards are met Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines Follow detailed instructions and technical drawings to ensure precision in all tasks

Experience

Prior experience as a seamstress or in a similar sewing role is preferred Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with production environments Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of different fabrics, sewing techniques, and garment construction methods is advantageous Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in both Vietnamese and English.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
