Job Description
WearLab is looking for a
dedicated, production/sample-experienced sewer
to join our growing in-house team. We work with a wide range of fashion brands across North America and specialize in full-service design, development, and manufacturing all under one roof in Canada.This is a
hands-on role
best suited for someone withstrong technical sewing skills
, who thrives in afast-paced production environment
and is eager to grow with a dynamic team.What We're Looking For:
Proven experience
in apparel sample making and productionAbility to work confidently with
both knit and woven fabrics
Skilled in sewing
detailed, high-end pieces
, including complicated constructionAbility to adapt to a wide range of
industrial sewing machines
(coverstitch, overlock, flatlock, etc.)Comfortable sewing across
different categories
(activewear, womenswear, menswear, outerwear, etc.)Strong understanding of
finishing techniques
and garment quality standardsDetail-oriented, fast, and takes direction well
Hours & Opportunity:
Starts as part-time
, with potential to move into a full-time role based on fit and performance On-site position at our Vancouver production studio Flexible schedule available for the right candidate*We do not offer benefits
