We are searching for our fantastic future and trusty SDI Brand Ambassadors that we'll call on for specific programs shifts and roles. We are looking for the right people who want to brighten peoples' days and impact their lives, even for a short moment.

Position: Brand Ambassador
Dates: Beginning June 17- November 30 (with potentially more future opportunities)
Pay Rate: $20-25/ hour
Hours: between 4-12 hours a day, 1-10 day shifts
Locations: wherever we can find crowds and our potential consumers, popular sporting events, high traffic streets across cities all across Canada, (from Shediac, New Brunswick, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary to Toronto, ON) and at large event venues or festivities
Your Job
You are the face of our program and incredibly important to our clients as you will be responsible for helping us deliver a magical and on-brand experience through fun mobile games, free food grilling, engraving, post to play, photo booths, story telling set-ups etc. You may also be at incredible music festivals or sporting events engaging people in brand prizes and VIP experiences. You'll run the fun and interactive campaigns while allowing our campaign programs to hit our clients' targets of sampling drinks, foods, coupons or collecting communication subscriptions, downloading applications or just being involved in the community. We have client targets if you're a go-getter .
Our personal target is for you to get as many smiles and laughs as you can on crowded streets across cities in Canada. We want you to brighten peoples' days as they walk to a concert with their families or enjoy beer with friends, ultimately connecting people with our brands and helping our brands interact with them in a human and creative way that will create unforgettable moments and memories!
Brand Ambassador duties:
You will be responsible for helping our brand partners deliver a magical brand experience at their respective events, festive set ups or street sampling campaigns by enriching yourself in your program's key campaign messages, promoting the product (usually free samples .) in a very engaging and professional manner. We have a range of incredible campaigns such as Rogers Hometown Hockey, Heineken's F1 "No drink no drive campaign", Harvey's "Better Together" cross country RV tour etc. Some roles may also include giving away prizes at music festivals, collecting survey data, engaging crowds in mobile games, free food truck stations, ice cream bikes etc. You will also be overseeing and running promotional activities, including the set up and tear down of all program set ups and making sure that you leave each place as tidy as you found it.
Requirements for the position?

• Must possess our attitude of "give-a-shitness" about people, client programs and your team (we need you to care about people)
• Being an avid sports fan is an asset but not required
• Enthusiastic, sociable, high-energy, engaging & approachable
• Past experience in brand ambassador/client facing, or promotional roles is an asset but not required
• Past experience in leading customer service teams is a strong asset
• Must be good at working in teams and adapting to new situations quickly
• Reliable, punctual and communicative about your needs, limits, any conflicts, we care about you and your capacity but we value communication
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs for helping with even set up and take down
• It is generally the Brand Ambassador's responsibility to get themselves to and from set locations, however we will help cover travel time and travel for long distances and touring roles
