OVERVIEW

McCain is embarking on a digital transformation. As part of this transformation, we are making significant investments into our data systems, structures and policies, and building digital products for our customers, key suppliers and McCain team members to enable digital processes and data-driven automation over time.

Our Technology team\xe2\x80\x99s goal is to inspire growth through innovative technology experiences. Our digital teams are key to deliver this ambition. McCain has established digital teams in Agriculture and Commercial and we are now looking forward to expanding our investments in Operations.

PURPOSE

Working closely with the different product owners and the Digital Manufacturing team, as well as related subject matter expect, this role is instrumental in driving the development and execution of Digital products. The Scrum Master will work directly with the digital Manufacturing team to advise and oversee performance against Agile values, practices, and processes. Working with the Product Owner, this role will support the work by maintaining the backlog and facilitating Agile ceremonies like stand ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. The Scrum Master will monitor team performance through the dashboards and help identify continuous improvement opportunities to help the team work better and smarter

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Coordinate beyond team

• Coordinate with other Scrum Masters in the Scrum-of-Scrums
• Align dependencies with other team members
• Support POs with roadmapping and radiating the roadmap and priorities across other teams
• Help to continuously improve the cross-team ceremonies and artefacts to coordinate across teams
• Assist with external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
• Set-up and facilitate cadenced ceremonies

• Mentor/coach the team to adopt truly Agile mindset, including self-management and empowerment
• Plan, prepare and facilitate the team\xe2\x80\x99s ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review
• Help in tracking the team\xe2\x80\x99s progress daily
• Create space for honest and actionable retrospection
• Guide the team on journey to self-organizing
• Foster a collaborative culture and ensure the team regularly celebrates success
• Improve Agile practices

• Focus teams on delivering value quickly
• Coach process, such as writing useful User Stories and managing the backlog
• Support and educate the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the backlog
• Identify which Agile practices drive most value and assist with coaching members to implement practices
• Actively exchange with other Scrum Masters and with up-to-date external sources of know-how to build further Agile expertise
• Remove impediments

• Remove the obstacles or impediments faced by the team in its work
• Ability to brainstorm with team members on solutions to address challenges
• Work with organisational resources outside Agile team to remove impediments and protect them from organisational bureaucracy
• Protect the team from outside tasking
• Support team to identify and remove obstacles that put delivery at risk
• Ensure Product Owner asks to the team are reasonable

and the team is empowered to commit to the Sprint load

IDEAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Several years of experience working Agile teams and understanding of Agile practices

for a large project transformation, evidence of progressive roles

• Ability to build rapport across functional teams, meet with the business with good business acumen
• Ability to brainstorm with team members on solutions to address challenges

and roadblocks

• Ability to influence behavior without having formal organizational hierarchy

• Act as a trusted ambassador to the manufacturing team; Coach, mentor and guide them to accomplish MDIxAI program goals.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across levels and functions internally and with third parties.
• Demonstrated skill in change and change management
• Good business acumen, understands how to drive value through the use of technology and data
• A strong passion, energy and enthusiasm to achieve and excel with your go-getter attitude and high motivation

EDUCATION

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in appropriate discipline
• Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Applied Certificate in Scrum Master
