Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Scrum Master with experience in financial institutions to support Agile delivery teams in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with financial industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives

- Coach teams on Agile/Scrum best practices and principles

- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed backlog

- Remove blockers and escalate risks in a timely manner

- Ensure Agile delivery aligns with regulatory and compliance requirements

- Track and report sprint metrics, velocity, and team performance

- Promote continuous improvement and team accountability

Required Qualifications:

- 3-4 years of experience as a Scrum Master

- Experience working in banking, financial services, or fintech environments

- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks

- Excellent communication and facilitation skills

- Experience working with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)

- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools

- Knowledge of SDLC in regulated environments

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $50.37-$93.76 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (Toronto District)
