Title: Personnel Coordinator Reports to:Director of Personnel & Policy Direct Reports: 0 Based at:Head Office Employment:Full Time Pay Range:$20-24/hr based on education and experience Hours:35+ hours/week; Monday- Friday days, 3-month probation and review Description SCP\xe2\x80\x99s Personnel Coordinator manages the full recruitment life cycle, providing support to all programs and areas of SCP as they recruit, hire, and onboard quality candidates. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role, requiring exceptional interpersonal skills, creative thinking, and a solution focused mindset. As the Personnel Coordinator you will be required to comply with industry standards and best practices while adhering to all SCP mandated approaches, policies, processes, and protocols in the completion of your duties and fulfillment of your role. Qualifications (Education & Experience)
Secondary Completion Required (High school diploma or equivalent)
Office or HR/Hiring experience preferred

Duties & Responsibilities (Outcomes to be monitored quarterly) Recruitment and Hiring:
Assist in developing job descriptions & advertisements
Help maintain recruiting web pages and content
Develop & implement recruitment strategies for hard to fill or specialized positions
Manage the applicant tracking system
Pre-screen candidates & schedule interviews
Verify candidates previous work history & conduct reference checks
Notify hiring managers of any disqualifying factors
Analyze information, inform hiring managers of findings, & make recommendations
Generate and revise employment offers
On-boarding & Training
Communicate on-boarding requirements with new hires
Work with new hires to complete the collection of all required documents
Support new employees through the on-boarding process
Publish annual training calendar
Schedule required trainings, book space, and arrange catering & accommodations
Arranges travel and lodging for out-of-town training
Off-boarding
Conduct off-boarding interviews with resigning or retiring employees
Process all related forms & notices related to the same
Facilitate the collection of agency property (i.e., keys, ID cards, parking passes, cell phones, laptops, etc)
Terminate exiting employees access to SCP software, systems, and accounts
Review and archive exiting employee personnel files
Engagement Initiatives:
Periodically represent the company at career fairs and other events in order to increase awareness of our exciting career opportunities
Help grow and manage social media presences on all platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Linked in, TikTok, Twitter etc.
Administration and HR Support
Prepare and distribute correspondence and documents in accordance with policies
Maintain competition summary spreadsheets
Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports as requested
Maintain employee personnel records in accordance with department protocols
Support other areas of HR as needed
