Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming CNC machines, particularly lathes, and possess mechanical knowledge to ensure precision in fabrication and assembly processes. This role is essential for maintaining our commitment to high-quality production standards and efficiency.

Duties

Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations using Mazatrol and other programming languages. Set up and operate CNC lathes, ensuring that all specifications are met accurately. Collaborate with engineers and production staff to understand project requirements and translate them into effective machining processes. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications. Utilize SolidWorks for designing components and creating detailed technical drawings as needed. Assist in training junior staff on CNC programming techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

Proficiency in CNC programming, particularly with Mazatrol systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience in welding, fabrication, and assembly processes is highly desirable. Familiarity with SolidWorks for design purposes is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts safely in a manufacturing environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
