This high-profile, forward-facing position within our SCIP (Supply Chain Integrated Planning) team requires a passion for working with people, teaching, and coaching. This role is at the intersection of Supply Chain and Store Operations. This position is responsible for training & development, implementation and compliance standards of the Perpetual Inventory and Store Automated Ordering processes within Store Operations. This individual will need strong change management, teaching and technical skills to ensure a successful deployment and sustainment of this program.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and partner with teams to assist in design and deliver training for corporate Supply Chain initiatives that maximize employee engagement, development, and business outcomes.
- Assist in creation and then present and facilitate training sessions effectively, managing group dynamics while encouraging creativity, innovation, and ownership of learning. These training sessions may take several different formats including but not limited to distance and in person training.
- Perform effectiveness evaluation of newly introduced standards; communicate results and develop recommendations for continuous improvement. Support in both analytics & process execution.
- Identify, measure, report and manage resistance to change.
- Measure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all store inventory control functions and processes that impact Perpetual Inventory and Store Automated Ordering.
- Assists in preparing training and resource materials and is responsible for keeping process and training material up to date.
- Act as the main contact and support to assigned group of Stores for training, trouble shooting and situational management.
- Follow up on KPIs to monitor and identify root cause issues and solutions to ensure accurate PI levels within various areas of the organization.
- Successfully execute the transformation change strategies and plans to ensure adoption of the technology and systems.
- Collaborative approach to problem solving and the ability to work with cross-functional teams at all levels.
- Support Operations management in evaluating training performance and engagement. Provide summary presentations to management and detailed action plans to mitigate any risks identified.QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-7 years minimum experience in retail is required, grocery retail is preferred
- Experience in implementing new technology and processes is required
- Certification in education, training and coaching is required or relevant experience
- Ability to work with and influence team members and key stakeholders
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills including creation of technical documentation
- Experience in managing people is required
- Experience in driving change is required
- Travel required including overnight stays for one-week periods
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
