About the Role
We are seeking a talented and driven Scientist specializing in Lateral Flow Assay (LFA) development to play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing novel biochemical assays for our point-of-care devices. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, where you'll collaborate with internal teams and potentially academic partners.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize novel lateral flow assays for use in point-of-care diagnostic devices.
Lead experimental design, testing, and data analysis to ensure assay performance meets rigorous industry standards for sensitivity, specificity, and reproducibility.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex assay development challenges, continually optimizing performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally with biologists, chemists, and software developers to bring new assays from concept to commercialization.
Support the commercialization efforts by ensuring research translates into scalable and robust diagnostic solutions.
Qualifications
Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated expertise in the development and optimization of Lateral Flow Assays (LFAs) is essential.
Strong experience with immunoassays (e.g., ELISA, EIA) is crucial.
Proven ability in assay optimization, with a deep understanding of factors affecting sensitivity, specificity, and reproducibility.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex experimental issues.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex scientific data clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
