Ce poste rel?ve du Directeur, D?veloppement d?essai. Le/la candidat (e ) devra ?valuer l?immunog?nicit? et l?efficacit? des nouveaux vaccines en participant aux plusieurs essais reli?s ?la virologie, la culture cellulaire,etc Vos principales responsabilit?s :

  • Connaissances en diff?rents types d?essais qui vont de la pr?paration des ?chantillons, les tests au labo ? l?analyse de donn?es.
  • Planifier et ex?cuter les exp?riences de laboratoire en suivant les instructions (PON)
  • Participer au d?veloppement des essais selon les requis des clients, incluant les phases de qualification et validation
  • Consigner les r?sultats dans des cahiers de laboratoire selon les SOPs ?tablies ;
  • Faire le suivi et maintenir l?inventaire des r?actifs et mat?riels ;
  • Suivre les proc?dures en place afin de maintenir la qualit? et l?int?grit? des r?sultats
  • Analyser les r?sultats obtenus et les synth?tiser au besoin
  • Effectuer l?entretien et la calibration des instruments lorsque n?cessaire
  • Participer proactivement ? toutes initiatives permettant l?optimisation des op?rations, la satisfaction de nos clients et la croissance de l?entreprise
Ce que nous recherchons :
  • Exp?rience pertinente dans le d?veloppement, la qualification, la validation et la r?solution de probl?mes, en lien avec les analyses en virologie
  • Au minimum un bac en sciences biologiques avec de l'exp?rience en techniques immunologiques
  • ?tre ? l?aise dans des environnements ? forte croissance
  • Connaissance des bonnes pratiques de laboratoire clinique BPLC est un atout
  • Exp?rience dans un environnement r?glement? (BPL, BPLC)
  • Aptitude pour le travail minutieux, la communication et le travail en ?quipe dans un environnement multidisciplinaire;
  • Exp?rience en industrie (CRO, Biopharma ou entreprises en biotechnologies) est un atout
  • Dext?rit? manuelle
  • Bonne ma?trise du fran?ais;
  • Connaissances suffisantes de l?anglais ?crit et parl? afin d??tre en mesure de bien comprendre les documents servant ? l?ex?cution du travail et d?interagir avec nos clients majoritairement anglophones
Nexelis keeps growing and we are looking for enthusiastic Associate Scientists to join our Virology team. At Nexelis you will have the chance to participate in the daily life of the most successful advanced testing service provider in the immunology field. Involved in more than 15 SARS-CoV-2 vaccine developments in partnership with multinational pharmaceutical companies, innovative biotechnology companies and prestigious NGOs such as Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation or CEPI, we also proudly serve the needs of our clients in fields such as Flu (universal and seasonal), meningitis, respiratory syncytial virus, chikungunya, malaria, or HPV and are growing an immune-oncology franchise.
Your main responsibilities:
  • Responsible for performing and documenting analytical procedures in accordance with company procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Acts as a technical resource for laboratory staff and support the team in the absence of the line manager.
  • Performs routine data analysis to determine if an analytical procedure is proceeding according to expectations and that the results are within acceptable tolerances.
  • Identifies and documents potential performance errors or otherwise unusual results and escalates to senior lab personnel.
  • Prepares data analysis results for upload to LIMS system under the guidance of senior level staff.
  • Contributes to CAPA investigations, deviations, and resolution.
  • Responsible for clear, accurate, and timely communications with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Assists in maintaining laboratory equipment and may offer suggestions for new equipment.
  • Assists in good housekeeping of the lab environment, consistent with 6S standards.
  • Assists in maintaining adequate inventory.
  • Responsible for preparation of buffers and solutions for analysis, as required.
  • Performs and documents calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment as assigned.
  • Performs and documents hands on training for other lab personnel in areas of proven competency as assigned.
  • Participates in continuing education through self-study, attending training sessions and lectures and meetings.
  • May lead a laboratory or cross functional projects and assist with implementation of changes.
  • May be responsible for contributing to the design and development execution of routine methods/assays under moderate supervision.
  • Supports safety, quality, and 6S requirements and initiatives.
  • Complies with company's procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • DEC or Bachelor's degree in Immunology, Biochemistry, Biology or Microbiology or related scientific field, or equivalent;
  • Relevant experience in development, qualification, validation and problem solving, related to immunology analyzes;
  • Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of virology/Bacteriology and/or innate immunity;
  • Knowledge of working aseptically (e.g. Biological Safety Cabinet);
  • Aseptically maintain cell line cultures as required;
  • Over 3 years of experience using immunology techniques;
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) is an asset;
  • Experience in Industry (CRO, BioPharma or Biotech environment);
  • Comfortable working in high growth environments.
