Summary

As a member of our Sales team, you will use your scientific knowledge and interpersonal skills to support great science by advising our academic and industrial partners to help drive their research forward. You\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99ll work to identify and acquire new customers to drive new business, while also managing existing accounts and relationships in your region. In this role you will have a broad and immediate impact on scientific discovery by leveraging your scientific expertise and strategic thinking to provide expert consultation and become a trusted ally in the scientific process.

This role is for coverage in the Montreal and Ottawa areas with travel needed in both regions. Bi-lingual (French/English) experience is an asset.



Duties and Responsibilities

Forecast, develop and execute territory strategies to achieve or exceed revenue target in assigned territory on a quarterly basis

Leverage product knowledge to develop, grow and maintain customer relationships and perform product demonstrations

Develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers within the territory, through prospecting, emails, phone calls, and virtual and in-person meetings

Document communications and keep the customer relationship management (CRM) database up to date

Knowledge and Qualifications

Master\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s or Doctorate degree in Immunology (previous Sales experience is an asset, but not required)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in French and English is an asset

Broad knowledge in area of expertise, including products, processes, practices, and approaches

Demonstrate expertise in the competitor landscape and proficiency on the entire product portfolio

Display proficiency in lab skills and ability to troubleshoot complex customer issues
