year of operation, located in central Mississauga. Safa & Marwa School is registered by the Ontario Ministry of Education and offers a fully accredited program from

Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Teacher to join our Middle School teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering core subjects including Math and Science while integrating Islamic values throughout daily instruction and classroom culture.

This role involves creating a nurturing and intellectually engaging environment that supports the academic, emotional, and spiritual development of all students in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver effective lessons aligned with the Ontario Curriculum. Integrate Islamic values and character development into daily teaching and classroom routines. Assess, track, and report on student progress using a variety of formative and summative methods. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs. Establish and maintain clear expectations for student behavior and academic effort. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Collaborate with subject specialists, administrators, and fellow teachers to support student learning and school initiatives. Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and membership in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT). Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the Middle School level. Strong understanding of the Ontario Curriculum and assessment practices. Experience differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A strong commitment to fostering Islamic character and values in students. Current Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening. Valid First Aid & CPR certification (preferred). Knowledge of Islamic education. Fluent in French, preferred.
