Summary

We are seeking a passionate Mathematics and Science Teacher to join our team at the Internationally Recognised Learning Centre in Oakville. In this role, you will inspire and educate students, helping them develop a strong foundation in mathematics while fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation. Utilize various teaching methods and resources to enhance student understanding of mathematical concepts. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field. Have strong proficiency in High School Math and Science subjects (Functions, Advance Function, Calculus and Veector, Physics, Chemistry and Biology) Previous teaching experience, particularly with children aged 3-16, is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods as needed. Passion for education and a commitment to fostering student success. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 9 per week
