Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing safe and reliable transportation for passengers, including children, seniors, and individuals with special needs. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation to ensure a positive experience for all riders.

Duties

Safely operate a bus or other passenger vehicle on designated routes. Ensure the safety of all passengers during transit by adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking, providing support as needed, especially for children and seniors. Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment, conducting pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or passenger needs. Document any incidents or issues that arise during transit, following company protocols. Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. Proficiency in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities (especially Spanish) are highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with passengers and team members. Previous experience working with children or in senior care settings is preferred. Proven customer service skills to foster positive relationships with passengers. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations professionally. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
