Job Description

Noggins Corner Farm II Ltd. is a diverse farming/ retail operation located in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. We proudly offer agricultural and environment-based educational programming for schools and other groups. We require a skilled individual to become a member of our farm team. The position requires a person who facilitates the programming and outcomes of our tour programs.

Job Requirements and Duties

Organize all logistics, including staffing for all school tours and group reservations Teach school students and others about the history of the community and farm, farming techniques, and other agriculture-related activities Grow the capacity and functionality and outreach of the education program Communicate with the Agritourism manager and business office regarding all marketing, operation concerns and use of resources Responsible for all Geocaching activities and maintenance Responsible for all clean-up after scheduled groups and other duties as assigned Provide a safe and inclusive environment for all students Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude for all students

Skills Required

Previous experience in a teaching role of at least one year Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) required Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills Forward-thinking and active problem-solving skills A strong work ethic with the desire to excel and achieve Willingness to learn and a motivated team player. Punctuality and reliability Team player and positive attitude

Education / Work Experience

Standard First Aid course Worked as a Teacher, educational assistant or in a classroom setting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.70-$18.00 per hour
