Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Guide to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading groups of visitors through various attractions on the farm (including Apples and Pumpkins), providing them with engaging and informative experiences. Your ability to educate and communicate effectively will enhance the visitor experience, making their time with us memorable. The ideal candidate will possess strong public speaking skills and a passion for sharing knowledge about our location's history and culture.

Responsibilities

Conduct guided tours for groups of varying sizes, ensuring an engaging and informative experience. Educate visitors on the farm practices, how apples are grown, and significant aspects of the sites being toured. Manage time effectively to adhere to scheduled tour times while ensuring all key points are covered. Provide excellent customer service by addressing visitor questions and concerns promptly and professionally. Utilize public speaking skills to convey information clearly and engagingly to diverse audiences. Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages interaction and engagement among tour participants. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations during tours. Maintain knowledge of current events, attractions, and updates relevant to the tours offered.

Experience

Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, particularly in hospitality or tourism settings. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage audiences of all ages. Bilingual to enhancing communication with diverse groups of visitors. Demonstrated leadership skills that contribute to a positive group dynamic during tours. Excellent time management skills to ensure tours run efficiently while maintaining visitor satisfaction.
